(Click refresh or reload for current message) Tuesday, November 11, 2025 "Proclaiming
and Praising" Message summary: Today, let us, like Moses, renew our covenant and faithfully proclaim the name of the Lord. Let us continually with joy "praise the greatness of our God" for who He is and for His remarkable, supernatural and steadfast presence in our lives.
Listen to our message on your audio player. "I will
proclaim the
name of the
LORD. Oh,
praise the
greatness of
our God!"
(Deuteronomy
32:3). Apparently
he had it in
his hand when
he bumped into
Brooksyne. A
staple had
caught her
skirt, kind of
like a
Xanthium
strumarium, or
far better
known as a
cocklebur. Who
hasn't had a
prickly
cocklebur
attach itself
to your
clothing or
worse, your
skin!
Cockleburs
inspired the
invention of Velcro
when they
clung to the
clothes of a
Swiss
engineer,
George de
Mestral, and
his dog's fur
during a walk
in the woods
in 1941. It was too
late to find
the little
boy, who
probably
wondered
whatever
happened to
his Sunday
School
craft/book.
But it did get
us to thinking
of our call to
proclaim the
name of the
Lord. The
little boy was
inadvertently
proclaiming
the name of
the Lord by
sharing the
gospel message
and
unbeknownst to
him, like
Velcro, his
message stuck! Many of our
readers,
including us,
were exposed
to the gospel
message,
through a wide
variety of
illustrative
methods such
as the
wordless book
either through
Sunday School
or VBS when we
were children. Be encouraged today! Hebrews 3:13 Stephen
&
Brooksyne
Weber

Wordless Book:
The Wordless
Book can be
traced back to
Charles H.
Spurgeon in
1866. The
little book
attached to
Brooksyne's
skirt had
words that
included the
gospel message
(color coded)
put to the
words of a
poem:
A
Veteran’s Day
story:
“I
am evermore
excited about
Veterans Day,
November 11,
2013. Months
ago I had
signed up to
be a
“Guardian” on
an Honor
Flight from
Kansas City to
Washington DC.
A few weeks
ago I got THE
CALL asking if
I could serve
on November
11. The
answer, of
course, was
YES.
So tomorrow morning at 4:00 AM I will be at the airport to board a plane with “my Vet”–Earl Hammer, age 93, Marine, from St. Joseph, MO. As you may know Honor Flights from all over the USA are trying to transport as many WW II vets as possible to DC to see the WW II Memorial–actually all the memorials, Arlington Cemetery and drive-bys of the Capitol, White House, etc. This will be the 16th flight from Kansas City. The Veterans have everything provided for them and Guardians pay their own way. It is a wonderful program. We had a Meet and Greet luncheon with Veterans and Guardians on Saturday. Earl seems to be in good shape after 9+ decades. Some macular degeneration and loss of hearing but that seems to be all after all these years/experiences. The main thing for me as a Guardian is to always be within arm’s length of Earl in case he needs anything or some assistance. You will probably be reading this on Monday/Veterans Day. Let this note remind you to say a prayer of thanks for any deceased Veteran you have known and/or thank some Veteran, in some way, today.”
